Ever wandered what is Chemex and how to use it? Our friends at Green Farm Coffee made a short video showing how easy it is to brew your coffee with Chemex. Watch the video or follow these 5 easy steps:

How to make coffee with Chemex in 5 easy steps:

Step 1:

Place the filter in the top part of your Chemex. Rinse the inside of the filter with hot water and pour the water back out.

Step 2:

Add your freshly ground coffee (to a ratio of 60g of coffee per litre of water).

Step 3:

Slowly pour just enough water to cover coffee grinds and let it bloom for 30 seconds.

Step 4:

Slowly pour the rest of the water over the coffee. Make sure that all the coffee is evenly soaked. Do this in 3 separate pours so you don’t overflow the Chemex.

Step 5:

Once all the water is drained through, remove the filter and serve your freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy!
